Hi, I have a pregnant guinea pig at 7-8 weeks. I think she's having about 3 babies, I need help. I can't understand how to feel the pelvis bone. I know one way is flipping her on her back, but I really don't want to do anything stressful since she's really close now.
Does anyone know an easy, safe way to check her pelvis bones??

Never put pregnant sows on their back. You cant feel their pelvis any easier that way.
The best and safest option (and the method i use)
All you need to do is run your fingers down her spine until you get to the bottom area, then you can feel the pelvis, you will be able to feel the two parts and how wide they are if they are open. Never press to hard as it can cause pain/discomfort.

Okay, I will try that. There was this website that said to flip them on their backs but that's way stressful and harmful for a pregnant sow, I didn't really believe it. I didn't try it. I tried what you said and found it, I think. It seems that it's open but I think it's closed.

Give it time and as she nears delivery you will be able to feel it widen/close.
Practice makes perfect.
