Hi there! New to this forum and coming at you from Alberta, Canada I have 3 sows of which 2 are permanent residents and one foster. I'm not an official rescue, but I do take guinea pigs in that are in need and rehome them. Here are the girls! Emmy, a sweet tiny girl who loves all piggie she meets! 3yrs old. I got her from an ad in the paper img.photobucket.com/albums/v453/kathleen5/guinea pigs/3DCC3AD4-6ED4-40CB-B806-C0BB7537FD07-666-00000073A1A97C59.jpg[/IMG]

Josie is about 3 yrs old and was taken by animal control as a stray. I then adopted her from our local shelter. She was someone's pet once because she is people friendly and a really good calm girl. She was 'massively obease' when u got her, but just simply giving her lots of proper food she is slowly getting slimmer. Besides being overweight which doesn't help her pea eye my vet says she is just over all a big girl in general lol just what every girl wants to hear! img.photobucket.com/albums/v453/kathleen5/guinea pigs/FF8A8947-6280-4293-977D-3B4A4A743526-666-0000007388986CA4.jpg[/IMG]

Thanks for modifying them can you do the last one too? I'm still learning lol Thanks again No worries, I'm happy to help. When I go into the last one it's the same picture of Josie again, maybe you have the link to a pic of Puffles? Also, here's a guide to posting pictures: link. It should be helpful Josie's pea eye is quite bad, isn't it? Does it cause her any discomfort or anything?

That's what I thought when I adopted her from the shelter. I had a local guinea pig vet have a look since my vet doesn't really do guinea pigs. They said she's fine and I have to monitor it to make sure it doesn't get bigger, goopy or watery or look irritated. When I adopted her she was massively obease which they said didn't help her eyes. Since having her she has dropped weight my vet said overall in general she is a big girl naturally, but they were really worried about her weight. I didn't really put her on a diet, I just fed her more of the right stuff needed and the weight has come off. She was found as a stray so she's lucky with our cold weather that animal control picked her up.
