Hello.. I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself to the forum. I just "rescued" a guinea pig today, and we are calling him Jigsaw. I also own other pets, which I will talk about later. But for now, I thought this forum would be a great place to come for helpful information. I did have guinea pigs years ago when I was a child. I am now 44, and still enjoy caring for my pets very much. I will do my best at posting a picture of Jigsaw, hes a handsome boy and I was told that he is about a year and a half old. The poor thing was living in an outside hutch since early this summer.. their young son lost interest. An email and a short trip.. Jigsaw is now home. Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to all the forum has to offer!

Heres a quick picture of Jigsaw.. I believe he falls under the tri-color category being dark brown, caramel, and white. (I was doing some reading about the different breeds, colors, etc.. didnt realize there were so many) But I think hes adorable, regardless. He seems to be settling nicely. He loves to be pet, and greets us with the popcorn jig. I plan on buying him a bigger cage, but for now this is the one he came with.. even though they were keeping him in an outdoor hutch for whatever reason. I actually need to pick him up and take a peek to see if he is truly a "he". Do males tend to be larger than females? I would say "he" is on the smaller side. He may be a she. lol
