My pig weighed 1.6 lbs at the vet today, or 0.73 kg. Today she has felt like skin and bones. Even since the feedings and watering (through syringes), she has improved. With a full belly, I can't feel the ribs as much. Although I can clearly feel her hips, which has never happened before. She has a mouth infection and is getting baytril, a nutritional supplement, and water through a syringe. What should she weigh to be in the safe zone? I'm guessing this weight isn't it.

Sorry. I just realized there was a weight section. According to that, she should be about 2 lbs at least.

If she's a fully grown pig then I would expect her to be at least 800g but preferably more. I had one pig that was less than 800g when I first got her and she was very bony like you describe. I gave her more pellets and she bulked up a bit. You could also try giving oats. She probably hasn't been eating as much with her mouth being sore so I'm sure when she is healed she'll get a chubby piggy belly back again.

Thanks. I'm worried about this little girl. She was all bones yesterday. At least her belly feels full now. She has been a bit skinny since I got her. When I first got her, she felt like she was full of water all the time. Then, that changed and she was just skinny. But this is bad. And it seemed to happen quick. But the belly filled up quickly, too.

Some pigs are naturally smaller than others. The girl I mentioned is still only about 900g, but that seems to be as big as she's ever going to get. So long as you offer unlimited hay, some daily veg and leave the pellets there she's bound to eat some. Just make sure her cagemates aren't preventing her from getting the pellets or anything.
Weigh her daily to make sure her weight isn't going down (bearing in mind that about 30g fluctuation from day to day is normal depending on how much she has eaten and drank and pooped so far that day).
