 Introducing Dizzee Rascal! He's a male orange-and-white Abyssinian guinea and he's almost 2 years old! We got him from a pet store nearby. Someone had returned him or given him up for whatever reason and when we walked in, there he was in his little cage, with no pigloo for him to seek refuge from the noise and commotion, right in the middle of the floor. The poor little guy looked so spooked and timid and we couldn't get him to come near us at first, but there was just something about him. He was meant to be ours! So my boyfriend and I took him home and he's been with us now for 5 months. He now has a much bigger cage (8 sq. ft.) and gets love and attention and lots of veggies and hay every day <3 He's one happy, spoiled little boy! We love him so much! I show him off like he's my child! Haha

He is so cute! I love my Terra and he is a Member of our family. I have an 8 square foot cage for Terra too. He loves it he does sprints and popcorns all the time. Welcome to the forum.

Aww thanks! Is his cage the one with the canvas bottom and ramp? If so, that's awesome for Terra! Diz LOVES his little pen  Its so rewarding to see him popcorn so much and enjoy his space! I read online that when you give your Guinea a proper sized cage their personality really comes out and its so true He's so vocal and happy now. It makes me feel good knowing we gave him a good home and got him out of that store |

Yes we have the canvas cage. It's a little hard to clean but other than that it is a nice big cage and Terra loves it he popcorns almost every day. He does laps around the cage like a nut! He is such a cute guy!

This video is low-quality, but it's very cute I was sitting at the computer and heard a tapping behind me so I grabbed my phone and zoomed in and took a little video (hence the low quality....the zoom kills it haha) He was playing with his wooden block and dropping it onto a little ceramic tower he likes to climb on.
