My sow is hard to tell how big she really is since she's a silky and has long hair. She looks big anyways. I was sitting with her in my lap tonight and kept my hand just resting on her belly and felt some movement every so often. She is housed with a male but was just wondering if I was feeling babies move or if you can feel a guinea pig's gut movements? Felt almost like her tummy was gurgling. Haha and if I am feeling babies about how far along would she be? I don't want to do too much poking and feeling for babies because I don't want to hurt them if they're in there. She eats and drinks a lot, and likes to just lay around in her cage. Thanks!!

When were the pigs paired? Its best to calculate 2 months from pairing to give an approximate delivery date. Sows usually carry between 66-72 days but unless the glue plug is found you have to guesstimate.

They have been together for just over a month. I have owned the sow for 3-4 months now. The pet store thought she was pregnant when she came in so I just kept her with my other sow the first two and a half months and had no babies. just lost a little weight on a healthier diet.
