welcome to the forum. I used to own around 8 pet rats with my twin sister when we were teenagers (much to my dads horror! lol!) and they made great, fun pets. Guinea pigs are definitely my favourite pets though! I have 8 at the moment. 6 sows and 2 boars. Good luck with your piggy when you get one!

Welcome to the forum! Have fun with your piggy, I have one, i used to have 2 but one recently passed, so i know how you feel. Guinea pigs are great pets! My brother owns a rat, and although Guinea pigs are quite different, they are great fun! (and great cuddlers too!)

That's great. We'd love to see some pictures.
Have you taken her to a vet to see about clipping her nails and to have a look at her feet? When nails get too long they curl into the bottom of the foot, which is really sore, so they'll need to be clipped back. Be aware however, that there is a blood vessel in each nail, so you can only trim a little at a time, and if you're not confident a vet will be able to do it for you.
Her feet should improve once her nails are done, but you might need to get an ointment or something to help them along. Also try to keep her cage as clean as you can.
As for her tooth, front teeth usually sort themselves out after a while because guinea pig teeth are constantly growing. Just keep a close eye that she's eating and not drooling. The tooth opposite the broken one might get a bit long because it has no tooth to grind against and keep it the right size, so keep an eye that it doesn't start to curve back into the mouth-if that happens your vet can clip it back a bit. Her tooth should be back to normal in about a month.
Best of luck with her!

Don't worry about that. We all do it from time to time. As you clip them the blood vessel inside will recede, allowing to to clip them a little shorter each time.
