So I just cleaned out my piggies cage and noticed that a lot of their poop is very soft, not diarrhoea but not firm like normal, are these just really 'fresh' poops so to speak or could it be that I'm giving them too many veggies? I haven't changed their hay or anything else so can't think what else it could be??

If they are still in "pellet" form it could be that they are fresh. How often do you feed veg and what is usually given?

Thanks Kayleigh, yes they still look like pellets, I read somewhere that they should have 1 cup of fresh food each daily so I tend to give them 1 cup of fruit/veg (carrots, apples, celery, cabbage etc) in the morning and 2 cups of lettuce in the evening - I have 3 sows who are about 4 months old.

I would stop feeding the lettuce that frequent. Theres little nutrional value in lettuce and this will definately cause loose poop. Stick with feeding a cup of veg (per pig) per day. Aslong as they have plenty of hay and pellet food they will be more than fine.
