Hello All!! I'm so glad I found this forum! I've been doing a lot of research on Guinea pigs as I've got the go ahead from my fiance to get a pair of piggies! It's been a long time since I've had one. I always had one when I was younger and I'll never forget my first guy, Sal. He was my first pet and literally my best friend. He went everywhere with me and I was so sad when he passed at the old age of 8 
I'd like to be more experienced this time around and will take any advice/info anyone has to offer! I plan on getting 2 females from a friend who is expecting babies in about a month and a half but I'm preparing now. I recieved my C&C cage today and although it is a bit small (2X3 grids) I plan on adding onto it in the near future. I have a ton of questions but I wanted to introduce myself first. My name is Alyssa and I am 22 years old. I live in a small town in Upstate New York with my fiance, whom I will marry October 5th of this year and our fur babies, Oliver who is a 2 year old Lhasa Apso and my best friend and Simon, our 3 year old Siamese/Ragdoll spawn of Satan cat whom I still love. He has a forever home with us because he is so evil, he attacks everyone who walks through our door. I've never met an animal quite like him Well, that's a start and I'll be back soon with all of my questions!
