So I am new here. I have had gp before but that was years ago. We got one for our son and when mentioned to us that they like to be in pairs went right out and got another. We tired to get one that was already being housed with the first but was un able to. So he picked another and they have been getting a long very well. We keep their food filled all day with dry food, and take them out twice a day for free time and fresh food. Along with treats in their cage as well.
The second gp we got has now started to look thin. Thinner then I think he should ever look. I know he is eating plenty, and has water all day long. I watch to make sure our first gp isn't keeping him from the food. I guess I'm wondering if I should worry about him? Could it be him just growing (he is young).
Any thoughts or suggestions would help. Thank you.

Have you got any scales? Check his weight; That is one way to see how thin he actually is. Then check it in a couple more days and see if it has gone up or down, some Guineas while they are growing turn thinner than others etc. And it might just be that he is a small pig. The way I see it if he is eating everything you are giving him and has no problem then feed him a little more it won't hurt. But yes weekly weigh in's are a good way to tell if piggies are gaining/losing as sometimes body shapes change etc.
Keep us updated on his progress and maybe a picture could help us see what we are dealing with :}

A kitchen scales is good enough to weigh only our guinea pig. If you post the weight and approximate age we might be able to tell you if there's something a bit off. I would also weigh him every few days (at least once a week) to see if his weight is stable or dropping.
Some pigs are naturally slimmer than others, but does he feel different? Bonier or anything?
