Treat for fungal. Looks suspiciously like ringworm.
Daktarin, canestan or lamisil cream should do the trick.

Ringworm is highly conatgious to other pigs, animals and us humans can get it too.
No point seperating them now. Treat the obvious infected pig, and id minimize cage toys / hideys too. You need to be able to keep the cage clean and disinfected. I use trigene also known as anigene but you can use virkon too.
Apply the cream to the affected area twice a day or three times if you can. The area will get worse before it gets better.
Wash hands before and after handling and if you have the pig against your clothes wash them too.
Ringworm spores can be spread through contact and can lay dorment for years if given the chance.
Its easily treated though so dont worry too much

I caught ringworm too, not from my pigs ... from someone who chose to ignore the obvious and bought them to a show. I was stewarding so handled them. Took every precaution and short of burning my clothes thought i was in the all clear with my pigs. Pigs are fine ... no ringworm. Me however a patch on my side appeared ..... horrible itchy burning thing i needed a strong course of steriod canestan and oral pills for 10 days and it still didnt budge, so stronger cream and more pills and it finally got better. Seems it liked me .... alot!! Iv still got a faint mark where it was. Iv still got the cream to hand as im paranoid haha!!
My pigs are all still fungal free and i have a strict cleaning regime too. For myself and the pigs, especially at shows i refuse to handle anything fungal looking. I was fuming!!

Aww Kayleigh I can imagine how mad you was! I also still have a slight mark of where the 3 rings were...I also had to use canestan which it didn't do anything then my Dad gave me some high in steroid fungal cream and it worked after about 2-3 weeks it was awful to look at though! (I also thought I might grow a beard from the steroid cream ha-ha but that is a whole new story!)
I can understand why you would be so mad; it is mind blowing why someone would take a Guinea Pig to a show which has a fungal problem. A show is just the last place I would think of taking my Guinea Pig if they had the slightest case of any fungal...Well at least you didn't end up having a whole Caviary full of ringworm that would have been terrible to treat so many...

Hmm hard to say. Id suggest treating it as fungal. It wont cause any harm to do so.
