Hmm...I'm really not sure...Are you sure there is no dust/hay in the eyes? Other than that maybe someone else has more experience with this kind of eye issue. I hope someone can help you soon, has buttons always done this and you just haven't noticed? Or is it very distinct like Buttons looks very uncomfortable?

I don't think she looks uncomfortable... wiggypiggys

It could just be possibly something that she does? The only reason I think that is because you have mentioned that there is no discharge, nothing in the eye...So unless someone else knows about a squinting condition it could possibly just be something that buttons has always done? Maybe someone will be able to help more if there is an issue but if it doesn't seem to be bothering her etc, then maybe it is just something she has always done.

I did take a look on another forum about this and did some research and many of the suggestions are to take the Guinea Pig to the Vet for a checkup to make sure it isn't something that will get worse, I wanted to mention it as there is the option for a proper vet to tell you exactly what is wrong and maybe give you some medication and put your mind at ease. Many debris can be caught behind the eye lid etc, so it is probably worth going to the vet to see what they have to say about it. If you feel you want to leave the vet then just keep watch on it and make sure it is not wet nor crusty around the eye and that the eyes are clean and shiny and bright .

I'm not sure if that can be an option because there is not much exotic vets around me. There is one downtown but that's really far away.
