Hi all, I am a long time guinea pig lover, having raised and kept guinea pigs for years before taking a break before having my son. I had taken in a beautiful longhaired board from a friend who had decided she needed to rehome him. His name is Mo. As it usually happens, I had decided to get Mo some company in the form of a sow or two, and was looking forward to some pups in the future again! I had contacted someone on Facebook about some free guinea pigs, and agreed to meet her to pick up the sow I had chosen out of the pictures she sent me. When I got to the parking lot to pick her up, she had FOUR sows in a teeny little wire cage, no bedding, no food, no water. I took the sow I had agreed to take, and she nonchalantly made a comment about "getting rid of" the others.... well.. now I have 4 sows (1 very pregnant) and Mo. I am very much enjoying these funny piggies, and have missed having the wheeking and purring in my home... So without further ado... here are... Mo (generally has MUCH longer hair, but I keep it trimmed) Penny Raven Ruby And this is the expectant Momma, Pumpkin I don't have ages on any of the girls, and I'm thinking that Ruby may also be bred but then they all could be.... it would seem as though the folks I got them from were just allowing them to breed without seperating any unless they were sold, etc... Anyways, very happy to have found this forum! I look forward to reading through some of the threads!

Welcome to the forum. Gorgeous piggies! Mo's hair is FAB!
Well done on taking in all four sows. Who knows what would have happened to them if you hadn't taken them.
