I am from Dorset,UK.

Looking into getting some Guinea Pigs, I am interested in showing as well, but before anything I would like to go meet some piggies and a breeder to see if piggies are the right pet for me and if I'm right for the piggies

If anyone could suggest a good breeder around my way that I could have a chat with and possibly meet some piggies I would appreciate it very much

I'm off to look around the forum for lots of piggy info

I really like the look of the Teddies or the Satins I think, but it's so hard to choose! there are so many gorgeous breeds!

I've been looking at the cavy clubs, I see there is a Southern one, if I join that can I show at them all? Or do you need to be a member of all the different clubs?Thankyou

You can show at any clubs without joining the specific club themselves. although to win trophies you need to be member. it doesnt stop you winning cards or rossettes though.

Satins are beautiful pigs :-)
