I pair my sows from 10months old for their first litters just over a year old. My rex i leave a little later, pairing at 12 months onwards.
Always leave 6/8 weeks post weaning before pairing again. But it all depends on the individual sow, how she coped before during and after pregnancy, how she reconditions and how she raised her litter.
Ask yourself why you would like another litter from the sow, remind yourself of the risks involved, just because one pregnancy can go smoothly doesnt mean the next will.

Thank you Kayleigh the girl I just got had her first litter at her previous home at 6 months old, I just got her 2 days ago and she's now 8 months, I am in no rush to breed from her if at all, but I just wondered what the gap should be? When breeding hedgehogs I would leave 6 month gaps dependent on how the mum was Thanks again

I leave no less then 10 weeks from the day her last litter was born, a lot of the time up to 12-14 weeks depending on how she did with the litter and how long it took to reach pre pregnancy weight.
