Read a few different thoughts on this, so just wondering what people do on here? Some say a male should be 6 months before breeding, some say 8 months and in one place it said a year old, Any thoughts ? Thank you

Boars can successfully breed from as early as 4 weeks, I personally wait until a boar is 6 months to use him for breeding, i like to see them grow on a little, see how they are. But as always assess each boar as an individual, is he a good size, fit and healthy etc.

I wait until 6-8 months depending on the boar, I like to see what they'll be as adults before I breed.
