I've found myself with 8 unplanned little pigs recently. I bought a breeding trio and wasn't planning on breeding the sows until sept. However they were put together and bred. Sooo with the 1 little I planned for and these little guys, I ended up with 12 babies! I have the space for them and I love having them but I want to see them all find good homes. I normally only do one litter at a time so that I have more time to spend with them. They have still been getting out of cage time every day and going outside to play and eat grass. I don't feel they're as calm as normal but mom's quite spunky herself 
Anyways....
I decided to advertise on kijiji this litter. The last 4 litters have mostly found homes by word of mouth or repeat customers. I had forgotten how people are
One woman called me about 2 weeks ago, basically she said she has 10x10 cage in her house (doubtful) and wants them for pets. I decided to ask a bunch of questions and see what she was really up to. She asked if I would sell her 7 females and a male. 
So from what I can gather she has a huge pen outside which she will put them all in and let them breed as they please. WOW. I kinda just said yeah okay.. call me if you wanna come out. Then I hung up and blocked her number from calling. I'm the kind of person that'll just say whatever I need to then run away from the conflict lol. I thought I was done with her. She called me back from a new number offering me a ridiculously low price, claiming her guinea pigs didn't ever eat veggies or hay because pellets were a complete diet. A whole bunch of stuff. I ended the call with "Listen lady I'm not going to sell you a guinea pig." never heard anything back.
The next day I had someone emailing me and everything she was saying seemed way too good to be true. It was all 100% spot on. IDK just had a bad feeling. Well about an hour after I give her my address I have the SPCA at my door. They received a call that my piggies were cramped, the one with the least amount of space is a boar who's cage got broke this week and even his is 6 sqq ft. Not too small for a temp by any means. The other complaint was that I neglect them and don't feed them for days on end. Obviously it wasn't true but I still don't want to deal with the humane society for the simple fact that I don't have time. So they came in. looked around commented on one boars condition (he was impacted and started pulling hair. not quite beck to normal) and left after telling me everything looked great.
It's frustrating because people will sell animals to anyone, I ask about nutrition and cage size ect. Then I make a decision. I had a baby til he was 7 months because I hadn't found a good match.
