My sow Karma is 59 days pregnant and I noticed this evening that her poops are just slightly softer than normal. Not only that, but they are extremely smelly.
She doesn't seem to be acting any differently, no signs of stress or distress. Eating fine, drinking fine, and pooping/peeing normal amounts. Her activity is down a bit, but she's due to litter soon.
Just curious if that's a normal pregnancy thing or something I should be concerned about.

They might be the nutrient-rich poops and she's producing more than she needs. Guinea pigs produce two types of poop, one is waste and the other is for eating to ensure they get the maximum amount of nutrients from their food. Sometimes if you change a pig's diet, e.g. different hay, they make more of the nutritionally-rich ones than they need to, which are bigger, softer and really smelly. Keep an eye on her. If she's otherwise well then I wouldn't worry too much
