Sorry, I won't have access to the computer soon, but hopefully I can see all the responses before I leave today. Sometimes Gabe's left eye gets this yellow puss stuff around it, and sometimes the fur around it is just wet. He has been treated for an eye infection twice, but it keeps coming back. There's this vet I really like, but she's very part-time, so I can't always gets ahold of her. She has said something a while ago about it possibly being an issue with a duct or something. I was watching it for the time being, but it's getting worse, and she hasn't called back. What do you guys think I should do?

Is it definitely pus and not just the natural white stuff they use to wash themselves with? Pus sounds like there's a need for antibacterial drops or something.
I've had a pig with a chronic blocked tear duct before. No pus or anything, it just looked like he was crying all the time with a wet patch under his eye. My vet advised massaging the corner of the eye daily to try to relieve it and it seemed to work for my guy.

I don't know if it's puss or not. It's just thick goo-like stuff once in a while. Mostly it's just wet under his eye. It's just weird for me because it's only ever that one eye.

He got some more topical eye medicine, so hopefully that works.
