Hello! My name is Stefanie, I have 3 elementary aged kiddos & a little zoo, I love animals :-) We have 1 dog & 1 cat, both shelter rescues. 2 parrots, a conure & parrotlet, both breeder bought. And the reason I've joined the forum 2 female piggies, both rehomes from CL. Coconut (aka Coco) is an American black-eyed white who's about 3.5. And WyldStyle, a black Abysinnian who is 5 mos old. I am hoping to breed WyldStyle with a friend's male who is a crested & will be needing advice. I've never bred pets before, & don't plan to more than once. I already have homes planned for the babies. Just hoping the whole process goes smoothly. I've done quit a bit of research already, but I know being able to talk with those who are experienced will be invaluable. I'm also considering joining our local 4H Cavy Project if it seems they are kind & up to date on care for guineas. The meeting is next week. Happy to be here, in an environment who is open to breeding :-)

Hello Welcome You should be able to find all the info you require on this site. If you are unsure of anything then please ask questions. There is a lot of conflicting information out there and it can confuse many people. I breed and exhibit my guinea pigs here in the UK, So im happy to help with any breeding questions you may have. Do remember breeding carries risks, you need to have access to a good vet should things go wrong, is your sows life worth risking by breeding ... the questions are endless, but hopefully you have thought about all possible outcomes. Best of luck Kayleigh
