My new girl, Treacle, appears to keep getting hiccups, I've had a look online and it doesn't look as drastic as heaving hiccups and it's not when she's eating. She's only had them twice that I've seen and both times it's been when she's running laps, they're quite gentle, just a little spasm in her abdomen with a little squeak and they only last a minute or two at most. Is this normal?? I've heard my other two cough when munching they're veg too quickly but never hiccups like this. She's had them twice in two days now.

I can't say I've seen anything like that before, only the really dramatic heaving hiccups.
If she's in good form I wouldn't worry too much about it. Keep an eye on her, but if she's eating, drinking, pooping and peeing then she's probably fine.

Thanks orlaith, she seems fine otherwise and as I say, they only last for a minute or two, it's just a bit odd!
