When Gabe has one wet eye, we thought it was an eye infection, until we saw crusty stuff on his nose. Yogi had one little crusty on his nose, and it fell off right after I saw it. It wasn't a woodchip or anything like that. I know I'm being over-dramatic and I'm too worried about the little stuff. I'm thinking one little crusty or "booger" isn't a big deal, especially if it falls off, and he has no other symptoms or issues. I just wanted to say it and see if anyone had any other suggestions. I'm going to ignore it for now, unless I see more or see any other symptoms. Is that good? I disinfected the cage that Gabe had (the way the vet that treated Gabe told me to), before I put them in. So I don't think I should worry. But I tend to be the person that thinks the little things are emergencies and sometimes I don't really notice how bad some things are.
P.S. Sorry I bother you guys so much. My vet doesn't belong to an office with receptionists and whatnot, she just rents an exam room from another office. Because of that, I have her personal cell phone number, and I don't like calling it, unless I have to.

Guinea pigs are prone to a URI so I wold watch them carefully. They may need antibiotics.

Nope. They have no other symptoms. I was nervous, because they're in the cage Gabe was in, and it's contagious. I cleaned it really well, so it shouldn't be an issue. But after seeing a crusty on a new pig, after Gabe just died from an URI, and he was the only one to ever have a crusty nose, I just wanted to be extra cautious. Is it possible to be a hypochondriac on my pig's behalf?

It is a wink face on my screen!
It's totally possible to be a hypochondriac on behalf of your piggies. It's natural to have worries about them because you love them so much!

There are notifications that are on a tab on your profile page, like when someone joins the site or if someone likes your post or something like that. I think you can choose to turn them off if you like.

I just saw that this morning on my computer. I was using a phone when I first saw that. Using a computer allowed me to see what it was for. The smartphone I was using is/was super cheap, so it's probably the phone's fault. And that phone was completely under water for a minute or so... So I'm surprised it even turns on. I just use it when I'm near free wifi. Sorry, I should've mentioned that this morning, but I made a few posts, then headed out the door.
