Hi all -
My eight yr old daughter and I decided to welcome some guinea pigs into our house this past week. We recently lost our 12 yr old catahoula leopard dog to Hemangiosarcoma, and we have all been sort of down about it. So I figured now was as good a time as ever. I grew up having guinea pigs with my sister, and just love having them as pets.
So an acquaintence (who is a veterinarian) was down at a show last weekend and I asked her to look for some long haired sows for me. She found a 3 month old Peruvian, and a 2 month old Coronet that she brought home for us. The coronet is Little Bit and the ruvy is Punk.
They are a bit skittish yet, so we don't really have excellent pictures of them, but we hope to soon once they get used to us! Looking forward to reading about and seeing photos of all the cute piggies.
