The boys have been laying really flat. Not on their sides, but closer to the ground and more comfortable looking. I can't tell if they're too warm or comfortable. It seems like they do it less when I try to cool them down. But they're from South America, so how is my duplex too hot? I'm scared to put a fan on them. I could get an air conditioner, but I don't know how that would work. Should I get a fan and just blow it near them?

I would think they are just getting comfy and relaxing, generally piggies are comfortable at the same temps we are so I I'd say around 16-20*C should be fine, if your house regularly gets a lot warmer than that (then I'd guess you don't live in the UK lol!) I would say maybe consider getting them something to cool them down. I generally don't have any issues as I live in Scotland and it's never hot here!!

I live in the United States. It's been getting up to 24*C (75*F. I used a conversion thing). The most it should get here is about 30*C. If that's the case, I'll be using tons of fans and whatnot. Do you think 24*C is fine? I'd say it has mostly been about 22*C.

I'm in the states as well. I use a fan and a dehumidifier and that seems to perk them up when they lay flat. Piggy pancakes!

I've heard that aiming fans directly at them doesn't help because they don't sweat like we do so it doesn't work the same. If you have some empty water bottles you can part fill them with water and freeze them and then wrap them in towels so they can lie down beside them if they get too hot. The might just be comfy, though.

I live in Florida and its very hot here much of the year. I have central air conditioning but I keep a spare window unit should the air go out in my house. Ill be sweltering but my piggie will be cool.

It seems like if I open up their window and the window across from it, and run a fan between, they don't lay down like that. So I think I'm just going to have to monitor the temperature more often.
