When I had Yogi and Boo-Boo on the couch, Boo-Boo started cleaning himself like a hamster. After he stopped, he walked up to sniff me and I saw a bunch of white goo. It wasn't transparent. It was thick and exactly white (not off-white or yellow). I went to call to see when my vet was doing her vaccine clinic, to see if I could sneak him in. Then, it went away completely. I'm taking him to the vaccine clinic now. Is that weird?

So my vet checked them both and they're both fine. Weird. Boo-Boo is soooo mad!

Oh, the white eye stuff is fine, don't worry about it! It's like a little built-in cleaning solution. If you watch them having their little baths, they squirt white stuff out of their eyes, rub it on their paws and then rub their paws over their bodies. It's bizarre, but totally normal

No worries. It frightened the bejesus out of me the first time I saw it. You'll never see some pigs do it and some do it all the time. One of my girls has a blocked tear duct at the moment so it's very noticeable when she does it, but I rarely see the others do it.

Ya, I didn't think any others did it. But now that I think about it, I think I have seen it before, but I can't remember who it was. The vet only charged me $20 to see both though, and she fit them in right away. She's the best vet ever

By the way, either Boo-Boo was really stressed about the car ride and/or vet or he was hot, or maybe pouting. He laid down so flat in his hut, that it looked like he was melting. And he didn't move when I first said his name, so I reached in and startled him. They can sleep with their eyes open right? That's probably what he was doing. I've seen some close their eyes, and some I never see it.

Yep, they can sleep with their eyes open. Like you, some of mine always sleep with their eyes closed and some never do. They're strange little guys.
