Hi, I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself and my piggies. My name is Kat and I have 2 piggies, Kit aka Peppa and Penelope aka Penny.
A little back story on Penny, she's about 5 months old and I adopted her form the PetSmart where I work. She had been there a long time, I've worked there a little over 3 months and she was there before me. She was sick (crusty eyes) they took her to the vet and had been giving her an eye ointment twice a day for awhile and my boos finally said she needed to be adopted out and I volunteered. I didn't know what she looked like until the day I took her home, I instantly fell in love with her and have spoiled her ever since. Now, Kit I have only had about 2 days. She was in our new arrival room and had only been at the store from the 14th til the 17th when I took her home. I'm the one that did the intake for new arrivals the day she came in, it was love at first sight. She too had crusty eyes, I assume from the shipping process, I have taken care of her since the moment she arrived. And now she is safe and comfortable at my home with her new friend Penny. I'm somewhat new to owning guineas, I haven't had one since I was around 10. I have learned so much in just a short period of time. I never knew how much fun this little ones were. I am so happy to finally find a page for fellow Guinea lovers like myself! Below is a pic of my girls, Penny at the top of the pic and Kit at the bottom.
