Guinea Pigs often eat their droppings this is absolutely normal behavior and is called coprophagy.
They don't eat the hard larger darker droppings you see on the cage floor but small, moist droppings, which it takes directly from its anus.
It is a bit like cows chewing the cud
The protein content of these droppings is important for the animals' health and you shouldn't stop them doing it. It can not transmit disease.
