I went into the caviary about 4.15pm to give them hay and dry food. As I do everyday I checked every cage to make sure everyone was ok. When I got to Abbie, Beth & Honey's cage I saw Abbie had 3 bundles of fluff beside her all wet and only just born. I then saw another one emerge  Beth was just brilliant she was there helping out all the way through, cleaning them with Abbie and guarding them from view. I then decide to leave her alone to clean them up so I went back into the house. However I just couldn't help myself I had to go back out to take some pics. Off in I went with my camera and opened the door just in time to see another baby emerging. Oh my goodness I cried there are 5 wow how wonderful. I quickly took some pics after having to move Beth again as she had hid them in the hut She will make such a great mum when she has her own. All through this happening Honey was fast asleep in the other hut at the other end of the cage  Here are the pics I took     Then I went back and took some a few hours later when she had cleaned them up. I think there are 2 girls and 3 boys, one of the girls as extra toes on the back feet but hey that adds to her character    Aren't they the cutest, I will weigh them later and let you know how much they weigh. Well they are all good weights so here goes.
Firstly there is a little Tort & White Sow weighing 77g
Next is a Tort, he is mostly black with just a little bit of brown he is 81g
Now is another little Tort and White boy he is also 81g
Then there is another Tort Sow I think with a tiny bit of white on her front feet 87g
Lastly the big boy of the group a Tort and White Boar weighing in at 89g

Aww they're scrummy dawn  Congrats to Abbie & you & Aimee ;D My Huxley has an extra toe, apparantly it's really common in aby's & it does add to their character ;D Niki x |

Yes I heard that it was quite common too. I am not worried they are all alive and healthy that is all I am bothered about Dawn |

They usually do it when you least expect it I am so lucky to have witnessed it. Mind you somethimes I wish I didn't like when Gemma lost her baby. When things go right it's a wonderful experience though. Dawn |

Dawn - Congrats ! I am SO delighted all went well for Abbie, and that Beth is such a great help. The babies are adorable - thks so much 4 showing us the lovely pics. You must be so delighted to have witnessed some of the births! I am personally thrilled that you have 5 lovely new piggies....I know that they will never replace the precious ones you've lost recently, but they will help to ease your pain....may all go will for piggies and humans alike. Lucky little piggies, ti have you as their "human" mum !!! Lots of love, and cuddles to the piggies....Irene. x

Wow Dawn those are great weights for a litter of 5! They are gorgeous Dawn. I can't believe Honey slept through it all. Little snoozer! Beth will be a lovely Mum since she helped out Abbie.

Congratulations Dawn and Abbie! 5 babies is absolutely wonderful, and double wonderful when they're so gorgeous! You just get the prettiest babies at all the best times!
