I am so jealous Dawn, more satin babies gorgeous!!!. I'm going to sneak into the back of Heather's car, jump out at your house and pignap No seriously congratulations I'm just broody. I think both rex girls are pregnant but they won't be due till end of November and I've just swapped boars with Esther cos nothing seems to be happening. Hope she prefers Pelle.

It really depends what they weighed at birth but those weights sound liek a good weight for average 1 week old babies I would say mizpiggy Don't forget though that piggies need veggies every day. Mine especially love celery, cucumber & romaine lettuce among other things. Dawn

:-) they get plenty of greens too, not sure about their birth weight as i didnt want to disturb mummy and babies to much.. They live in doors cos i was worried that it was to cold out side for them to be born outside, but now do they have to stay in doors the whole winter?

Will they be in a shed or garage? If so they should be ok as long as you get then used to it before it gets too cold.
Give them plenty of hay to snuggle up in at night that will provide warmth for them too.
Make sure there are no draughts though piggies don't like draughts.

my 2 rabbits are in a play house my children grew out of and i was thinking of putting a table in there with a hutch on it for the mummy and babies guinea pigs as dad occupies the shed :-)
