I have a peruvian sow, whom I bought about 2 months ago from another breeder. She is about 10 months old and has apparantly has littered before. I am concerned because she is generally very moody and despite cutting her hair as short as possible at the back, she is always constantly soaked. I wonder if it could be post-pregnancy related or if more serious like diabetes.
Today she had some odourless white discharge but I think that it just linked to her cycle. I had put her in with one of my boars, but have put her back with the girls until i can get her 100%.
I think it would be good to take her to the vet, but I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas or similar problems...
Many thanks,

Could it be cystitis? I know one of my piggies had it once. I got her onto baytril and it cleared it up after a week or so. Here is a good link that might help www.guinealynx.com/uti.htmlDawn
