i didn't know where to put this so if its wrong Dawn feel free to move it.
I said yesterday that I thought my new addition had a sticky eye ..well I still wasn't happy today so I took her back to the shop. Pets at home have a vet practice at the Huddersfield shop and guarantee to treat any problems occuring in the first week free of charge. The manageress thought she had a small ulcer on her eye but the vet was on his break so I had to leave her with them. They've rung me this evening and the vet says whatever the mark is on her eye its an old injury and that she's fine but the girl who looks aafter the guineas agrees with me that she's not 100% so she's keeping Jasmine in their isolation cage at the shop till Thursday that way if there is something else the vets there on hand. I have to say I'm quite impressed with the service I've had especially as the girl who phoned has promised to give me updates if anything happens. It makes up a bit for the Dewsbury's store lack of knowlegable staff.

ooh how nice!! We don't have that at our pet stores. When I saw mimi I knew she was a sheltie (which they didn't) and I sexed her (just in case) and I asked how old they were (they actually new that.)

Brought Jasmine home today. She had a visit to the vet before I could bring her home and they've prescribed more cream for her eye and shes to go back on Sunday to their vet at their expense. The vet thinks its her curly hair growing close to her eye that's irritating it.
When I got home hubby had built our first C & C cage so when Geri stops chasing Jasmine around I'll take photos. Apart from being chased around Jasmine is like a different pig to how she was when I first brought her home so I'm really pleased.
