Well, a week or so ago my mom and I went to the petstore to pick up crickets for the toad. And I always look at the piggies too. I looked in the hut and there was a tort and white a PEW and a gorgeous lemon agouti rex. It was a female too. I figured I wasn't allowed another piggie so I walked away and put it out of my mind.
Today we went back to get more crickets and I looked at the piggies. The PEW was still there and the gorgeous lemon agouti rex was there. Also some new ones. I said "Mom she's still here."
My mom came over here and said "oh yes she is! She's very pretty."
Then she went back to the cricket counter. I was watching her and thought she had a limp. I walked to the other side to get a better look at her. Sure enough she was favoring her back right leg. I told the lady here and she said "I noticed that this morning but then I was told to go stock shelves. Thanks for reminding me." We took her out and I looked her over her (sexed her as well to make sure she was female.) Sure enough her leg was a big swollen. The lady said she will have the vet in the store look her over. I made sure it was an exotics vet and then the lady walked her over there with the piggie all snuggled in her arms.
Tonight I plan on calling them to check on how she's doing and then I might go see her in a day or two. Who knows, I might even have a new addition soon!
When we left the store my mom called her fuzzy wuzzy. I really wish we could take Fuzzy Wuzzy home!
