:)hi my guineas hate having their claws clipped is there any way i can keep them calm or distracted while i do it?

If he wont stay still try wrapping him in a towel that way he can't move about as much.

We let our guinea-pigs run on the patio, so their claws don't need clipping as they run around. If they don't like it then I would do what I do, only if it's safe.

my girls in the summer months dont get theirs cut at all as they are outside alot in the run (on the patio) obviously they cant go out in the winter as its too cold so i put bricks in their cage their indoor cage is half brick and half bedding. alot of people see it and think its mean but they love it. i think because the house can be quite warm they like to lie on the cool bricks it at the same time wares their nails down plus it just gives them that extra something to climb and jump on and off. plus if i have any pregnant sows in the winter as i do at the minute, nearer the end of the pregnancy they lie on them alot because they obviously get hot alot quicker than the others.
