If a piggy needs more water, say one with bladder sludge or stones would feeding iceberg lettuce help? Isn't it mostly water

Noooo, Iceburg is full of Nitrates, not good for piggies. Water must be taken as water, you can't get enough via veggies or know how much they're getting. The best lettuces (for Ca:Ph ratio) is Romaine. Laudanum is also present in lettuces but they would have to eat a lot of lettuce for it to have an effect.
Syringe feeding water is the only sure way to do it, they need about 40ml daily. I have a boar prone to stones who needs this, he is also on a low Calcium diet, the main part of his diet is hay and dried grasses (fresh in Summer). My pigs get veggies but only a few select ones to ensure a low Ca diet (I don't have any young pigs). Dry food is Cavy Cuisine as it has the right levels of Calcium to Phosphorus. For my rescues I use Cavy Cuisine and Supreme Science Selective depending on age and condition.
I believe diet should be tailored to the individual Guinea and age and health should be taken into consideration.

Thanks Karen thought that would be the case. I was asked but wanted to make sure before I told them anything
