Well Lily-Belle is still not eating very well but she is trying, she had some romaine today and she nibbles at the hay so I am going to carry on syringe feeding her for as long as it takes. She has put on 35g so that's good news and she is moving about more  I am really hopeful now that she will pull through  I am back at the vets tomorrow for them to check her progress so I will let you all know what they say when I get back. I'm so relieved that things are looking better I was so worried when you hadn't posted today Dawn. I gave Geri an extra cuddle today after imagining myself in your shoes. They worry us as much as the kids!

I'm so relieved that things are looking better I was so worried when you hadn't posted today Dawn. I gave Geri an extra cuddle today after imagining myself in your shoes. They worry us as much as the kids! Thanks Josie yes they do worry you as much as kids, I am feeling better about her now even though I know she could still go either way, she is actually looking brighter and is more active so I am hopeful  |

Dawn I have to say I am glad Lilly belle is doing ok, I could understand how you felt living Lilly at the vets, but she would have been well looked after by the nurses I am sure of it. I hope Lilly continues to improve

Thanks I am hoping she wil eat more on her own soon she is eating but not as much as she should be to stay healthy, so I am syringe feeding her still until she doesn't need my help any more. Dawn |

Great to hear she is back home and eatting on her own, even it is just a little bit. Weight gain of any is always a good sign  Did the vet actually diagnose her? I am confused  |

The vet said she had a bad gut infection Marsha. I took her back to the vets tonight and well the vet said Lily-Belle was looking loads better, she isn’t dehydrated anymore and guess what she pooped on her hehe so I know her bowels are working. Her teeth are fine the vet checked them and said they are ok so that’s good. She is eating better now too and she is a lot livelier so that’s great. I thinkn well I hope she is over the worst now fingers crossed for a full recovery |

She sure is Rach you wouldn't hardly know she has been sick now, she still has to regain the weight she lost which will take a while but she is looking good |
