Glad to see you used them. I'll add some pics of what it looks like now the stitches have dissolved in the morning.

Thank for the pictures! It might be odd to ask, but do you know where some are on the internet or has anyone taken one of a neutered bore that was infected. I am planning on getting my piggy neutered, but I am very nervous.

I don't know of any pictures but my boy got an abscess a few months after his neuter and it was very obvious that he had an infection. He had a massive swollen area where an incision was and was walking funny. Other than that, for the two weeks or so after the operation your vet should advise you to check his operation site daily for signs of infection. Our boy kept pulling his wound open with his teeth and we had to get a special gel to help it heal quicker.
Not to try to put you off, but do be sure that your vet has lots of experience and don't be afraid to ask questions like how many gp neuters they have done and how many they have lost due to complications from the operation. It's tough to ask those questions, I know, but it really is your piggy's life in their hands. I had my boy done so he could live with his wifey and daughter (and now two adopted daughters as well) and, hand on my heart, I've never seen a happier piggy than him, he loves the company. But, his operation took a lot out of him and he didn't recover from the anaesthetic properly at first and had to be kept in for observation, so it was a really scary experience and really brought home to me how much my little guy meant to me and what a serious undertaking the operation was. So, again, not trying to change your mind, but just be really sure about it before making the decision. Review all your options and make sure it's worth the risk. I thought I was sure when making the choice for Xander but when I thought I had lost him it wasn't worth it.
