i noticed today that barney was limping, then by the afternoon he wasnt walking on his back legs, so i took him to the vet and the vet did a thorough check over, and said it was a pulled muscle (barney could walk at the vets,funny how he couldnt here tut@barney) anyway he gave him a shot of anti-inflammatory and a painkiller the some anti-biotics to be safe. and said he has to rest for a day or so (try telling barney he has to rest) and he should be fine, phew i was so worried i couldnt eat my dinner i felt sick. thankfully he should be fine, he is now walking round with just a bit of a limp.

thanks rayfay, this morning he seems back to normal running round the cage chasing benji. i was so worried. yesterday he couldnt move then today back to normal. phew

thanks dawn- i nearly called you as i was really upset i thought something awful had happened to him. i was sobbing. then today he is running round and i starts crying again. this time coz i am pleased he is ok. anyway at least he has had a good m.o.t at the vets and vet said he is in good health apart from his pulled muscle so i am pleased about that.

they sure do, today he is eating properly again and standing up the bars of the cage wheeking so i guess his hip feels better, he still limps a bit when he is running, evry so often he moves both back legs together like a kangaroo hopping, instead of running properly but he certainly doesnt seem in any pain now and i have had a good cuddle and chat with him and asked him not to scare me like that again as i dont think my blood pressure can take it.
