Larry's teeth have always been crooked ever since I had him brought over on the piggy train from down south and I have to clip them every so often when they get uneven. Does anyone think this could be hereditry or could it be that he has damaged them in some way?  Excuse his stained mouth he has been scoffing carrots   As you can see one of the bottom teeth bends over the other one  Dawn |

It looks like he has a slant in a way. I think as long as he is eating well and gaining weight then he's fine.

Looks hereditary - I can't see that a one-time injury would cause the teeth to continually grow back uneven, unless he has some kind of abnormality in the gums. Malocclusion can be genetic. so I would guess it is the case with Larry.

Thanks Rach & Laura, I do tend to think it is hereditary too that is why he will never get a girlfriend sadly because he is a lovely piggy. He will always stay here too so that I can make sure they get trimmed regularly |

I use ordinary nail clippers, I find them best. Then is put him on my knee upside down just get Hannah to hypnotise him hehe and then open his mouth and clip them. He doesn't mind now he knows as I do it every 4 weeks. He is used to it. He is due them doing soon so I will get some pics of me doing it for you to see, it's really easy when you know how Dawn |

I want to know how Hannah hypnotises him as well!
Please do get some pics next time you trim them as I would like to know how to incase I need to with my pigs.
