Crust In Time Crusty ears seem to be a hot topic at the moment and something we've received several emails about over the past month or two. This problem is easy to spot as the back of the ears are not covered in hair. Often the first indication of a problem is a white "bloom" - looking like some talc has been sprinkled on the ears. This can appear over the whole ear or just around the outer edge which may become jagged. This problem is easily helped with our Lavender & Myrrh Lotion. Simply massage into the ears 2-3 times a day and within a few days you will see an improvement. If the problem has taken hold and there are solid crusts on the ear, these can be softened with our Super Souffle Cream which works very quickly. Once the crusts have gone, follow on with the Lavender & Myrrh Lotion. Where there is a fungal problem it is important to continue using the Lotion for 7-10 days after the skin looks normal again as the problem may come back if you stop too soon.
