I went to Pets @ Home today and saw these products available over the counter. Very useful to have in just in case. Could save a fortune on vets fees and I am all for that.
Beaphar Anti Fungal Spray
Beaphar Anti Fungal Spray is effective against fungal infections, such
as ringworm, on the skin of small animals. Symptoms of a fungal skin
infection are: incomplete moulting, skin discolouration, hair loss,
leaving rough areas of skin.
Price £7.99p
Anti-fungal spray contains miconazole, and is authorised for sale in the UK under the Small Animal Exemption Scheme. For topical application, the product is for use against fungal skin infections, which are characterised in small mammals by hair loss, skin thickening and discolouration, leaving rough, itchy patches. Infections such as ringworm are highly contagious, and can easily be transmitted to owners. Great care should be taken when treating an infected animal, which should be isolated from others. Also for this reason, gloves should be when during handling and treatment.

Fly Guard
Fly Strike is the name given to the condition where flies lay eggs on Rabbits, usually around their bottom, which then hatch into maggots and feed on the rabbits body. This is a very common condition which all rabbits are at risk of especially during the summer months.
Price £7.99p
Beaphar Fly Guard is an Veterinary preparation containing an insect growth regulator which gives protection against fly strike for up to 3 months. One bottle is sufficient to treat up to 5 rabbits. Fly strike is particularly nasty condition that can affect rabbits with damp or dirty fur. Green Bottles lay their eggs in the fur, where they hatch into larvae and migrate down into the skin. Following their moult the larvae then start to eat their way into the body tissue. Not only does this cause distress and discomfort to the rabbit, it can also cause blood-poisoning, which can in some cases be fatal.
