Gig has a blade of grass stuck between her front teeth! It's wedged between the top teeth right near the root and it runs down the front so it looks like she has a gap and then it goes up the back too. I know it's a piece of grass becasue i fed her it and then it was hanging out of her mouth for ages!I've tried to dislodge it with my nail but it's not seeming to come loose, and she keeps making a funny movement with her mouth as if she's trying to get it out with her tongue but can't manage it. what should i do? x

My Guinea Pigs sometimes have some grass at the back of their throats and they get it out eventually. I'd leave her personally but maybe you could try and dislodge it again soon?

Can you try and run a bit of sewing cotton or dental floss between the teeth to dislodge it, would that work?

Maybe Dawn, i'll try it after she's had her dinner. the grinding action of eating the nuggets might losen it up. i'll keep you updated x
