Hi my name is Vickie and I have recently lost one of my pigs this sunday, Lemon, I am devastated she was my baby, she was 5 years of age.
I also have another pig called Honey she is also 5 years of age and fighting fit at the moment, she has been left on her own and I really dont know if it would be possible to introduce another guinea pig at this age, any advice would be really great, thank you.
Vickie.

Hi Vickie, Welcome to Cutiecavies.
Sorry to hear you lost Lemon, she was a good age at 5 years old. Yes you can introduce another piggy or two maybe to your sow, that way when she goes the other two wont be left alone.

Hi, do you think its best to get a female the same age as my sow which is 5 years or younger or a male which has been neutered of the same age, I dont know whats best?
My female is very dominant so I dont know which would be best?

My female is very dominant so I dont know which would be best? I would get a baby that way it would accept you piggy as boss from the start and not challenge for dominance.
