when harry pees its normal colour, then after about 10 minutes it dries browny/orangy/pinky colour. he eats the same as toby and his pee is normal. i have checked his penis and its not sore,he doesnt wheek when he pees, and he is full of beans eating drinking and playful as ever. he gets mixed veggies daily and is currently finishing off the bag of gerty guinea pig mix until my wagg pellets are delivered, he gets unlimited hay all the time. i just cant understand why his pee is drying a different colour.

Hmm...could it be that he's eating the coloured biscuits that are in the Gerty food and it's colouring his urine?

i have wondered the same thing, he does seem to pick out the orange biscuits first, where toby doesnt he prefers the flakes first, they eat the whole bowl by the end of the day. i ordered some wagg online as i cant get it in the shops round here but still waiting for it to be delivered.

Some of my piggies sometimes have odd coloured urine after eating guinea pig mix biscuits. So it could be that. I should keep an eye on it and see if it stops when you get the new food?

Some of mine have brown pee after eating certain things biggest culprit is dandelion I guess it could well be the biscuits. They are not so good for pigs because they contain colourings and additives. Gerty is the worst for this. I am glad you are trying Wagg Dawn it is a good food mine all look great on it and eat every bit but don't forget it might take them a while to get used to it after eating mix.
