Morning all I was holding off posting about Tousel incase the mating hadnt succeeded. But after watching her closely and keeping an eye on her behaviour im pleased & excited to announce Tousel is pregnant. Shes still got a little way to go, but the signs are there that Godric done his deed correctly. Ill be sure to keep you all updated on her progress, health and of course the pups. Heres a couple of pigtures of Tousel, Shes a peruvian cross although looks like an abbysinnian cross. Ill be sure to get some pregnant pigtures of her when shes visibly pregnant.   Kayleigh |

Tousel has about 3 weeks to go now and shes starting to get oval shaped around her belly, you can feel the pups inside her if you apply pressure gently. I got a couple of pigtures of her whilst having a little sneaky cuddle.   Kayleigh |

I know its very excting, Im keeping a nice close eye on her and making sure shes in tip top health. I love taking pigtures of them as they get closer as the change is remarkable.
Im hoping shes going to be my first piggie whos a little early. All my other sows have been late and its agonising waiting.

I know what you mean about keeping us waiting, I just hate that. I hate having actual due dates since you never really know when they conceive and only frustrates me when they don't give birth when I think they are supposed to.
Another thing...a lot of my pigs are dilute colors and most are white bellied. So when they have pups that are darker or have darker markings you can see it thru their skin when they get really close to birthing, it is so cool to see.

Wow that would be amazing to see. I only have one piggie with a white belly but I wont breed from her, shes got an attitude and a half on her plus shes past the age I would breed now.
Gave everyone their veggies this morning and Tousel came waddling out and started munching away at everything. Bless her.

A little update. Tousel is huge bless her. Alot bigger than i thought she would get, im just hoping she has 4 nice sized pups, I hope she doesnt have any large pups in there. Im still hoping she will be early, Under two weeks to go now Heres a couple of snaps i got of her last night You can really tell how large she is as you can see her body outline from her neck, shes petite then she just gets wider,   Kayleigh |

I can feel the pups very easily now, their heads, feet etc. Its a fantastic feeling. It cant be too much longer now.

Only a few days until her due (ish) date shes huge bless her, shes still managing to get about though all be it slowly. The pups feel fairly large so im keeping an extra close eye on her. Hopefully she delivers soon

Ah, every times I see there's a new post in this thread I keep thinking it's gonn be "She just had her babies" but it never is. Piggies always seem to like to keep us in suspense. She's a beautiful piggy, I can't wait to see pics of the babies when they're born. I hope she has them soon!  |

Well today is Tousels due date and surprise surprise shes still holding onto them. Im checking on her several times during the day and she just looks at me as if to say "What......." Iv taken a few snaps of her and shes very very large now, her stomach drags on the floor depending on which side the pup or pups are sitting. Shes still very nosey and happy to be petted which is great. If you look at her neck and upper body you can really see how large she is ;  She was being very nosey when i took this next pic, she thought i had something for her to eat.  This final picture is to show you her underbelly, I wouldnt advise anyone unsure or a single person to take a picture like this, Tousel was held very securely by my partner and was licking his hand as she held him.  Im hoping she has her pups very soon as im getting very anxious as I know they just keep getting bigger. Kayleigh |

I'm kinda glad that Raiden and SubZero's pups were a surprise, then I didn't have to wait. : P
Wow, she's really huge!
Good luck on everything, I hope it all goes smoothly. Whenever she finally decides to have them, haha.

Tousel is doing ok, she seems fed up now, shes a bit stroppy but thats to be expected as she must be uncomfortable now. she came out to get her breakfast veggies and had a good half an hours exercise. I keep checking on her but i dont think she will have the pups today, Maybe during the night or early hours.
Hopefully very soon.
I want both babies and mum to be comfortable. But all i can do is keep an eye on her.

Still no pups, shes looking very uncomfortable. BUT everything still looks ok, shes eating, drinking, waddling and wheeking.
She just doesnt want to share her babies with us.
