I love this website! My name is Maria Christina, I was named after a girl in an Elvis Presley movie, only her name was actually Christina Maria, mom decided to mix it up a little!! I know the name is very hispanic, but although I have alot of different nationalities in my family, that is not one of them, I guess you could call me a mutt!! I don't know what mom was thinking!?!? That is a lovely name my mum's second name is Maria |

My name is Penelope but "Rose", my middle name, suits me better because I'm like a rose that's in full bloom. My parents were going to call me "Angela" and I'm SO SO glad they didn't! Everyone calls me "Rose" and that's fine for me!

Hi everyone I'm Gaynor and well, my mom said she called me that because 'I was such a gay little thing' when I was a baby. Of course thats in the days when it meant something different to today. The midwife and nurses said I was smiling all the time but really it was wind, according to my mom... still they thought I looked happy and hence my name. |

just to add my daughters name is emily (always loved the name) and i added the middle name of rose as i have a small tatt of one on my shoulder and i thought it fitted nice, then years later they bring out a film The exorism of Emily Rose greeeeeeeeaaaat !!! haha

My first name is Sarah and my mum said she chose it because it was a popular name when i was born (20 years ago) and my middle name is Carly...my dad was trying to be clever with this one....my two aunties are called Carole and Lynda so he took CAR from Carole and LY from Lynda to make Carly...quite sweet really lol. Was going to be called Joanne or Katie, but the parents settled with Sarah! x

My name is Andrea. I was named after my great uncle or other Andrew. My mom had the full intention of giving me the nickname "Andi" and calling me by that...but when I was born, I was sooooo NOT an Andi. My littlest sister calls me Andera though. It is cute.

My name is just Sarah! I was suposed to be Sarah-Jayne but my dad went to register me on his own and forgot! Although he did tell me recently I was named after the thin lizzy song 'my sarah', ahhhhhh bless him
I got the best of a bad lot tho my sister's are called Janet & Diane and they both hate there names!
Our youngest sister is kelly, but had she been a boy mom and dad planned to call her Roy!!! what a shame that would have been she's only 24! lol

I wonder if Im a first here LOL My name is Daniel. My mum had always wanted that name for a boy so I was never going to be anything else. My son however (if I have one) wont be so lucky. Ive already convinced the wife of his name: Ethan Peter-Parker Stanford We both love Ethan and I wanted to give him my grandfathers name as a middle name. Also being a comic book nut I thought it would be funny and cruel (isnt that the right of a parent?  ) to give him Spidermans alter ego as a middle name LOL |

My names Kayleigh ( not Kayley or Kaylee ) It annoys me when people spell my name like that! Anyway my dad loves the song by marillion so i got the name. Iv also heard that song so many times i could resite it. My middle names are lesley and cecilia. My parents wanted to be awkward and give me TWO middle names. Lots of weird and wonderful names out there though. I dont mind my names though, theres worse out there....

I was born Sasha Pamela Ward and then my mother married and I was names Sasha Pamela Clark.
Last year, I changed my name to Sasha Clark Waters when I got married as I hate the anme Pamela with a passion. It's my mother's name and eh oh.. I don't talk to her, never have done since I was 12!
Any Mothers out there want to adopt me?! ;D

OMG its a Dawn convention  I was caled Dawn as i was born early in the morning, my second name is Evelyn it would have been the other way around if i had been born in the evening (phew)! My OH is a Sidney and i only found out 3 weeks before our wedding, i had only known him as John !!!!!!!! i almost cried with laughter but it was a good thing i found out before the wedding as i would have been in hysterics at the alter  |

I bet you can't guess what my name is! I've spent my entire life telling people it's Abby, not Abi and definitely not Abigail (which my own grandmother insists on calling me! I get her back by calling her Granny, she can't stand it). If i had a daughter I'd call her Erin, and if a son Ollie but right now neither of us know if we even want children, they look like such hard work! I prefer guinea pigs :-)
